Inpatient Care

Our family-oriented, inpatient, Medical/Surgical/Acute Care Unit has 25 private rooms, where services range from pediatrics to geriatrics. A team of professional registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants provide 24/7 nursing care.

Our staff is trained to meet the various needs of all age groups and continues to stay up to date on the latest methods in healthcare. Our goal is to exceed our patients’ expectations by carrying out our mission of providing quality and compassionate health services.

A culture of compassion

We encourage your family and friends to visit. We understand that a healthy social network is vital to your well-being. However, only two visitors at a time are allowed in your room. Visitors who have a contagious illness, such as a cold or fever, must refrain from visiting until symptoms have subsided. This is important to protect our patients. Sleeper chairs are provided to accommodate one family member to stay over with a child or seriously ill patient.

Visiting hours

General visiting hours are 7 a.m.-8 p.m.

Observation

Your provider may want you to receive further testing before determining whether you need to be admitted as a patient. We provide our patients with an outpatient observation status during this time of testing. Typically, you will not need to stay beyond 24 hours for this observation status unless your provider feels that more testing is warranted.

Some patients improve and are released while others may be admitted as an inpatient. Observation patients are cared for in private rooms by our nursing team.

What if I need a higher level of care?
