Auxiliary
The Auxiliary supports the purpose, goals, and mission of the medical center. Membership to the Auxiliary is open to anyone and members work together on special projects throughout the year.
Fundraising Projects
Some of the fund raising projects for which the Auxiliary is responsible include:
- Membership Drive in October
- Valentine Bake Sale in February
- Annual Summer BBQ
- Spring Flower Sale
- Friendsgiving in the Fall
- Halloween Bake Sale in October
- Luminaries in November and December
- Various other activities
Proceeds from all these events, and Gift Shop sales, help fund health care scholarships, with the majority of monies going toward the purchase of medical equipment and special projects for OSF HealthCare St. Mary Medical Center.
Past purchases for the medical center include HUGS security system for infants, C-Arm, Bone Density Equipment, additional signs, the Emergency Department expansion and the center for Outpatient Services and Cardiology Services.
All of these activities continue with the selfless love of volunteers. Please join us in sharing and caring for others.
Becoming a "Friend" of the Auxiliary
OSF HealthCare St. Mary Medical Center Auxiliary needs you and your friends as a "Friend" of the Auxiliary. By being a "Friend" to our Auxiliary, your monetary gift will touch and help someone's life. Please consider our Auxiliary as one of your regular charities.
We are a tax deductible charity which offers opportunities to share in the welfare of our hospital and the communities we serve. Medical costs accelerate at a fast pace. Your membership dues help our hospital offer new and advanced care to the community.
We greatly appreciate your financial support. With your membership and support, the Auxiliary will continue to be able to assist OSF HealthCare St. Mary Medical Center in its mission of serving the health care needs of the community. We take pride in having served the area for 100 years and counting with outstanding results.
Annual Auxiliary Memberships run from October to October. As a "Friend" of the OSF St. Mary Auxiliary, you will receive a 15% discount in our gift shop year round.
